School's out, let's go to Europe for a month
(Paul was there for the first week.)

Back to England, Sulston Swarm. Micah bee-lines for the cakes.

Off to the beach! A week in Montauk (Pavlidis swarm)

Well, he's going to miss all this great steak. Theo took the picture, but everybody else is here. Montauk dawn. How I wish it was a sunset instead.

Instead of sand castles, the Pavlidis family has a tradition of making boreholes.

This is where Kira sleeps most nights, under the shelves in the kitchen. As far from us as possible.

Claire visited us from California. "I made you a happy birthday" (hummus and crackers) Micah doing his first "knob and hole" jigsaw puzzle.. (Don't get excited, Claire helped him) Kira in her lounge chair, doing her first "glob in the hole".

A VIP visited our street (for at least the second time), filling it with limos, rifle-toting SWAT teams and secret service agents. Nobody seems to know who it was. First booster seat experience. The tray table holds her up. I'm a snail! Look! Look!

Inspiration for previous. This is "Scorpion", Micah's pet snail (he named it himself). Molly mourning the departure of Claire. For a while there she had an adult to herself.
